AUGUST 1st.......SWISS DAY celebrations at Balmer's!!!
Sunday the 1st of August is National Swiss Day, celebration the founding of the Swiss Confederation in 1291.
We will be celebrating at Balmer's with a open-air party in the biergarten with a live band - Carus Thompson.
There will also be traditional Swiss food, games, prizes and give aways.......
From 10pm onwards there will be an after party in the Metro Bar.....most popular bar in town!!!

Balmer's Motel Tents and Tent Village
Come and check out the new concept of Motel Tents! Our newly styled tents have double beds with heating and wooden floors, a view of the mountains, green grass and natural mountain water just outside.......
We also have Tent Village tents, great for backpackers and groups. These tents have six beds per tent, a great option for the more budget conscious or single traveller!

We really enjoyed our experience at Balmer's. They have a lot of events set up for the guests to meet. The Beer Garden may be the best feature. The spring water is also very good. I would reccomend this hostel.
