Balmers Backyard beer garden is only open in summertimes

Hang out in the Biergarten while tasting one of Europe’s finest burgers or sipping on one of our fantastic local Lagers. Balmer’s Biergarten is open all summer long, serving hot food from the grill and a selection of local and international beers, mixers, and soft drinks.

A great place to relax after an adventure-filled day and swap stories as you watch the sun go down over the Swiss Alps. The Biergarten is a popular socializing spot between travelers, staff, and adventure guides.

Brand New Guest Kitchen

CLEAN, SPACIOUS AND CONVIVIAL

We provide a fully equipped guest kitchen with storage for dry food and two large fridges. You can buy good produce from the nearby supermarket around the corner. Be sure to label your food. All cutlery, pots and pans are available for your use. Check out our free food shelf too!!!

WE HAVE FREE SUPER FAST WIFI. PERIOD.

We have high speed free WiFi through out the common areas and rooms in the hostel for guests. Make use of our welcome page when logging into wifi and book your activities from the comfort of your bed!! Find out whats going in the hostel that day and come join the fun. If you need any printing you can ask at reception, they are happy to print for a small fee.

We would like to point out that our hostel has a strict no smoking policy indoors. We do however offer an appropriate smoking area inside. You are of course free to smoke outdoors.
