When bass guitars begin to boom across the waters at the top end of Lake Brienz and a tent village goes up between the river Aare and the motorway as fans of rock music from all over Switzerland congregate on Brienz, there’s no mistaking the fact that the Lake Brienz Rock Festival is underway.
This year the three-day Lake Brienz Rock Festival is being held for the 29th time. A large marquee set up on the shores of beautiful Lake Brienz is the perfect spot to take in the music, combined perhaps with a dip in the lake waters. This year again the Festival features a diverse programme of Swiss and international rock music.Free camp site for festival-goers, complete with showers, WC and firewood for camp fires.
