🕗 Reception is open from 8–10 am and 4–10 pm.⁠
⁠
📆Please check the board next to the reception and this group for updates on activities we have planned. ⁠
⁠
🔌 Adaptors can be borrowed at reception. But only if you promise by your life to return them when checking out!⁠
⁠
💨 Hair dryers are next to the reception. Please return them after use. Sharing is caring, and karma is a bitch.⁠
⁠
🔐 The locker room is open 24/7. You can pay by card to store your things while you head out exploring without worrying about your earthly belongings.⁠
⁠
🍽️ The kitchen and dining area are in the Eiger House, open all day except from 11 am to 12 noon for a deep clean.�Please clean up after yourself. Use the stickers provided. Filling in your name + check-out date helps us know whether that lonely pizza slice is still loved or ready to be let go.⁠
⁠
🛋️ Above reception, you’ll find the Hammock Room, a comfy spot to hang out. ⁠
⁠
🎹 We love when our guests make music! Feel free to jam on the pianos or guitars. Until it’s time to sleep at 10 pm.⁠
⁠
🍻 The outside bar is open daily from 4–10 pm. Get a drink, meet new people - we are there for some chill vibes. ⁠
⁠
💃🏽The nightclub is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 pm. Closing times may vary depending on the crowd. ⁠
⁠
🔕 At 10 pm, quiet hours begin. We close the Hammock Room and the garden, then.�Please turn down your conversations, put away the guitar, and come back to the piano tomorrow.⁠
⁠
🧘‍♀️ If you`re outside after 10, keep it very low-key. We`re in a neighbourhood where people live, work, and sleep. Be kind to them, and to the early risers in the hostel. ⁠

Day 1 - Harder Kulm & Giessbach Falls 🌳⁠
⁠
Puede hacer una caminata de 2 horas hasta el punto de vista de Kulm más duro o tomar un teleférico de 10 minutos. Hay un restaurante y una cafetería en la parte superior, luego más arriba, hay un bosque donde puede continuar su caminata. ⁠
⁠
Tome un tren de 30 minutos desde Interlaken OST hasta Brienz, luego suba al bote a Giessbach Falls (1 parada, 20 minutos de viaje). Cuando llegas a Giessbach Falls, toda la caminata hasta la cascada principal y hacia abajo te llevará alrededor de las 2 horas.

Day 2 - Schilthorn & Grindelwald🚡🗻⁠
⁠
Obtenga el tren a Lauterbrunnen, luego, desde allí, consigue un autobús a Murren, desde aquí puede llevar el teleférico hasta la cima de Schilthorn Mountain y atrapar algunas vistas nevadas increíbles. After taking in the views, get the cable car back down to Murren and find yourself a way back to Lauterbrunnen, where you`ll take a train to Grindelwald. Depending on the season, you can go to Grindelwald First, where you`ll be able to go on a nice walk and do a bunch of fun activities. This opens May 23rd and will close in the Autumn! There is also Pfingstegg, which is walking distance from the Grindelwald train station. ⁠

Day 3 - Oeschinensee 🏝️🏔️⁠
⁠
Obtenga el tren a Oeschinen (Bergstation) y luego camine 15 minutos hasta el teleférico para llevarlo al comienzo de la caminata/sendero de Oeschinensee. ITINERARY ⬇️ NO GATEKEEPING⁠

Day 1 - Harder Kulm & Giessbach Falls 🌳⁠
⁠
You can either do a 2-hour hike up to the Harder Kulm viewpoint, OR take a 10-minute cable car. There is a restaurant and cafe at the top, then further up, there is a forest where you can continue your hike. ⁠
⁠
Take a 30-minute train from Interlaken Ost to Brienz, then hop on the boat to Giessbach Falls (1 stop, 20 min journey). When you get to Giessbach Falls, the entire hike up to the main waterfall and back down will take you around 2 hr.⁠
⁠
Day 2 - Schilthorn & Grindelwald🚡🗻⁠
⁠
Get the train to Lauterbrunnen, then from there get a bus to Murren, from here you can take the cable car up to the peak of Schilthorn mountain and catch some amazing snowy views. This mountain is basically the same as Jungfraujoch Mountain, even the locals say you should just go to Schilthorn to save money because it's just the same thing! ⁠

Get the train to Oeschinen (Bergstation) and then walk 15 minutes to the cable car to take you to the start of the Oeschinensee hike/trail. You can do the slide before or after you start the hike, then it's a 20-30 min walk to Oeschinensee lake, there are a lot of different routes around the lake and up the mountains so make sure you grab a map at the entrance to see which one you'd prefer to do! You can hire a paddle boat for 30 Swiss Francs for an hour on the lake. We weren't allowed to swim when we went (mid-May), but I believe it's seasonal and you should be able to swim in the summer. If you go to the cafe at the top, just keep in mind that they take cash only⁠
