The best hostel in all of my years of backpacking. I absolutely loved this place so much. Loved waking up every morning in this place. The pictures speak for themselves, this stay was so great – very social, activities, and the amenities so good. There is so many common areas to rest, socialize, drink, watch movies, eat. It was just so fun to explore every corner. The kitchen was massive (amazing for Switzerland prices so I could cook). So happy to have found this place. Please stay here you won't regret it

Isso é uma pequena distância da estação e leva cerca de 20 minutos para caminhar e há poucas viagens de ônibus. Eu gosto muito aqui! Ele cobre uma grande área, incluindo lavanderia, cozinha, piscina de banho, salão ... tem uma sala de bagagem que pode ser armazenada, mas é um espaço aberto. Haverá atividades diferentes à noite, e há mesas e cadeiras em todos os lugares para uso, o que é ótimo! Minha coisa favorita é que a cozinha é grande, com três fogões de indução, forno, torradeira, aquecedor de água e saquinhos de chá pretos, e os utensílios de cozinha também estão bem preparados! É felicidade poder comer uma tigela de macarrão instantâneo com carne e ovos na Suíça, o que é caro, e é um pouco embaraçoso ficar no quarto de seis pessoas. Eu tenho que colocar lençóis e capas de travesseiros sozinhos, mas não há lençol. Não sei se foi colocado ou não mudou novamente. O isolamento sonoro não é realmente muito bom, mas pelo menos a cama não faz nenhum som. Há apenas um banheiro na área vizinha, e os dois quartos o compartilham, então às vezes você precisa esperar. A sala de banho também é compartilhada por muitos quartos e precisa esperar. O balcão não é 24 horas por dia e você deve prestar atenção ao tempo de descanso no meio. O que é Balmers Hostel?

Balmers Hostel é o albergue privado mais antigo da Suíça, ambientado em três chalés suíços encantadores cercados por picos de montanha esperando para serem explorados. É um lugar social descontraído, onde os viajantes podem se conectar, relaxar e desfrutar de uma atmosfera divertida e única. Ah, e antes de esquecermos, fazemos uma festa ou duas, especialmente em alta temporada.

Para quem é o Balmers Hostel?

Balmers Hostel é para viajantes de mente aberta e descontraída de 18 anos ou mais, procurando mais do que apenas um lugar para dormir.

Se você está aqui para explorar os Alpes suíços, conhecer pessoas com idéias semelhantes de todo o mundo ou simplesmente relaxar e apreciar a vibração, Balmers é sua casa longe de casa.

Congratulamo -nos com viajantes solo, grupos de até 8 pessoas e qualquer pessoa com um senso de aventura e respeito pelos outros.

Que horas são o cheque e verifique para fora?

O check-in começa às 16h/o check-out é até às 10h. No check-out pedimos a gentileza de trazer os lençóis, bem como as capas de edredom e travesseiros.

Sim, mas você terá que fazer o check-in online. Em seguida, prepararemos suas chaves para que você possa chegar ao seu quarto após o fechamento da recepção.

Como faço para chegar ao albergue da estação de trem / estação de autocarros?

De ônibus:
Da estação Interlaken West, pegue o ônibus número 105 e desça na parada Hotel Sonne. Isso leva 5 minutos
Da estação Ost apanhe o autocarro número 104 e desça na paragem Hotel Sonne. Isso leva 5 minutos
Estamos a cerca de 30 metros de ambas as paradas. A tarifa de ônibus custa Sfr 3,80 por pessoa. Os ônibus começam a circular das 07h00 às 20h30. Assim que você chegar ao albergue, forneceremos um passe de ônibus gratuito para sua conveniência e para o restante da sua estadia.

Da estação Interlaken Ost – saia direto da estação, entre o banco e o shopping Coop, passe direto por duas rotatórias e siga as placas marrons para Balmers.

Você também pode obter um táxi por cerca de 15 chf ou estação ferroviária.

⬇️-How to reach each of the locations?

1. Aare Gorge: 50 minutes from Interlaken Ost
Travel from Interlaken Ost to Meiringen via Interlaken Ost, then take a local train toward Innertkirchen and get off at Aareschlucht West. From there, walk about 7 minutes (550 meters) to reach the Aare Gorge West Entrance.
2. Glemmerbahn: 1 hr from Interlaken Ost
Train Interlaken Ost-> Meiringen, then take PostBus route 161 from Meiringen to the "Handegg, Gelmerbahn" stop(30 minutes). From the bus stop, it`s about a 5-minute walk to the Gelmerbahn funicular station
3. Allmendhubel: 50 minutes from Interlaken Ost.
From Lauterbrunnen, take the bus 141 to Stechelberg, then the cable car to Murren. And take this funicular from Murren to the top of Allmendhubel
4. Grindelwald First: Direct 45 mins train from Interlaken Ost
5. Brienz Rothorn Bahn Steam Engine Train: 30 Minutes from Interlaken Ost
Take 20 20-minute train from Interlaken Ost to Brienz Train Station. This steam engine train starts right from the Brienz Train Station
6. Stoos Bahn: 1 hr from Luzern
Take a train from Luzern to Schwyz, then walk briefly to the bus stop. From there, take a bus to the Schwyz Stoosbahn and arrive directly at the Stoosbahn station.
7. Stauber WassferFall: 2hrs from Luzern
Take train IR26 from Luzern to Altdorf, then walk 1 minute to the bus stop. Board bus 408 toward Urigen and get off at Unterschächen, Ribi. From there, walk about 110 meters (1 minute) to reach the Seilbahn Ribi-Wannelen Talstation. From there, it`s a 45-minute easy walk to this waterfall.
8. Bernina Express: Board from Chur, which is 1.5 hrs from Zurich
9. Rodelbahn Pfingstegg: 5 mins from Grindelwald First ticket office
Take bus 122 from Grindelwald Ticket Office to Grindelwald Pfingsteggbahn, a short 5-minute ride. Get off at the stop right next to the Pfingstegg cable car station.
10. Rosenlaui: Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge has delighted nature enthusiasts. On its way from the glacier to the valley, the Weissenbach River has cut a deep path in the chalk and slate rock face.

👉🏻 Source of the 36.5°C warm thermal waters that made Bad Ragaz world-famous! Best to combine with surrounding hikes since the walk through the gorge itself is short.⁠

2️⃣ ROSENLAUI GLACIER GORGE (GLETSCHERSCHLUCHT ROSENLAUI) – Rosenlaui, Bernese Oberland⁠
Opens on May 17!⁠

👉🏻 A hidden gem 😍. Stunning cascade of waterfalls with magical light reflections on sunny days. Keep in mind it’s loud and narrow - not ideal for little children unless with headphones. No strollers.⁠

3️⃣ AARE GORGE (AARESCHLUCHT ) – Meiringen, Bernese Oberland⁠
🥾 1.4 km one way - you can walk back or take the train between entrances | ⏱️ 1h 30 min⁠
👉🏻 One of the most picturesque river gorges in Switzerland 🇨🇭! Illuminated evenings on Fridays and Saturdays during July–August 🤩. Partially accessible for strollers and 🦽. It’s more of a half-day trip, so it makes sense to buy a combo ticket with nearby Reichenbachfall.⁠

4️⃣ GRINDELWALD GLACIER GORGE (GLETSCHERSCHLUCHT) – Grindelwald, Bernese Oberland⁠
🥾 2 km round trip | ⏱️ 1h 30 min⁠
👉🏻 Walking through the gorge with 300-meter-high rock walls is just wow 🤩. The 170 m² “Spiderweb” net suspended over the gorge is thrilling! This gorge is also beautifully illuminated.⁠
