Tuve una buena estadía en el albergue. Reservé una habitación privada para mi perro y yo. La ubicación es central, es fácil de alcanzar desde la estación de tren. Hay restaurantes para comer fuera. También tienen una gran cocina de invitados. El personal es amable y servicial. Los recomendaría.

We had a great experience at Balmers Hostel during our time in Interlaken. Check-in was seamless, and a big shoutout to Joel, who was super helpful with local recommendations and transit information.
Since it was our first time staying there, Joel also gave us each a free bus pass for the duration of our stay and we used it every day.
The hostel itself is large and has a quaint, cozy charm, filled with cute trinkets and decorative touches that give it a really warm, welcoming atmosphere. There are plenty of common areas to relax or meet other travelers.
Overall, Balmers is a well-run, character-filled hostel with great service. We’d definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Interlaken!

Absolutely one of the best places I have stayed at. The staff are friendly and helpful with activities each night to make it easier to meet people. It also helps Interlaken is an amazing base to travel around from, with the area itself having enough activities and shops to get anything you need.
I stayed in a 6 bed female and the best part had to be the sink and mirror in the room. I found having a chair in the room so useful as well.
The shared spaces are thought out and provide a great opportunity to relax, work or meet new faces. The hostel has heaps to explore too, with signs around the town leading you there.
The laundry next door is not owned by Balmers but I’d get there as they open to avoid having to wait for the machine. Others will put items in if you aren’t there.

El sueño era cómodo y era agradable ver enormes cocinas, en lugar de pequeñas donde la gente se aprieta y se siente incómoda al usar las estufas. También había muchos duchas. Es bueno que hubiera una tarjeta de llave y una sala de estar muy agradable. Me gusta este albergue

Balmers siempre vale la pena visitar. La recepción es súper amigable y lo ayudan con cualquier pregunta o inquietud. La cocina comunitaria es muy espaciosa y muy bien equipada. Lo único de lo que estábamos fuera de las especias y la sal, pero hay un gallinero a la vuelta de la esquina. Nos quedamos juntos en una habitación privada para 8 personas. El espacio estaba bien equipado. Tiene tiras de cable para varios puertos USB. También hay cajas en la habitación para almacenar pertenencias personales. Afuera en el jardín y en las áreas comunes, hay más que suficiente espacio para relajarse y pasar tiempo juntos. Volveremos :)

We booked a separate room with six bunk beds, which was spotless; only drawback there wasn't any lift and room was on 3rd floor.
Its location is convenient, as it is close to all supermarkets and bus stops.

The best hostel in all of my years of backpacking. I absolutely loved this place so much. Loved waking up every morning in this place. The pictures speak for themselves, this stay was so great – very social, activities, and the amenities so good.
There is so many common areas to rest, socialize, drink, watch movies, eat. It was just so fun to explore every corner. The kitchen was massive (amazing for Switzerland prices so I could cook). So happy to have found this place. Please stay here you won't regret it

Mi prometido y yo nos quedamos aquí durante nuestro tiempo en Interlaken. El personal era increíble con la propiedad limpia y bien cuidada. Era un fastidio que la bañera de hidromasaje ya no está en la propiedad, ¡pero la ubicación, el personal y las actividades se componen fácilmente! Por lo que nos quedamos en una habitación privada

One of the best hostels I've been too! The place is super cozy, it's clean and it has the best vibe. They often organize activities to make it easy to meet the other guests (game night, day hikes etc). The people are amazing too, it's a great place to make connections (perfect for solo travellers).
