The best hostel I've ever been to! The activities, the people, the staff, all top-notch! The Balmers guys—Joel, Dario, Ivan, Ori, Wilson, and the others—are geniuses! If you have to go to Interlaken, this is the best place to stay, without a doubt! They have everything you need to have the best time at the hostel: a great kitchen, dining room, places to relax, play music, play games, their own disco—everything. This was my second time there, and I would choose them again! Balmers will always be in my heart.

In Interlaken zu stützen war eine großartige Entscheidung, und es war noch besser, in Balmers zu bleiben. Jeder, der dort arbeitet, ist super freundlich und Dario war immer verfügbar! Ich werde zurück sein ❤️

Stayed in a mixed 6 bed dorm, it was in a perfect location only 15/20min walk from both stations. Rooms are basic but have everything you need, there was only 1 toilet and 1 shower on our floor which i think was shared with 12 people which did get difficult at times especially when everyone wants to use them at the same time, however more toilets and showers on the lower floors. The kitchen was a little dirty and the fridge was out of order which was kinda annoying. They give out bus passes which was helpful as we could then use any buses for free. I can imagine that if you were solo travelling it would be the most perfect hostel as they did activities in the evenings so you can meet other travellers & had an affordable restaurant and pub next door!

Look; it's a hostel - so the rooms are small, it's cramped, the beds are small, etc. But the vibe and the energy and the people staying there and the staff are great. It's in a neat area of Interlaken eith plenty of grocery store, bar, bakery and restaurant options. Jake, the bartender is great!@!

Unreale Erfahrung in Balmers in den letzten Tagen machten Dario und das Team die Atmosphäre zu einem großartigen Ort, um sich zu treffen und Menschen zu treffen. Auch toller Ort für Bahnhöfe und Bushaltestellen. Alles wurde täglich gereinigt und alle Mitarbeiter waren respektvoll. Wird bald wieder zurück sein!

Alles war ordentlich, sauber und gut organisiert für die Anzahl der Gäste, die sie haben.
Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit.
Das Hostel hat einen großartigen Ort zu einem erschwinglichen Preis.

Ich war besorgt, weil es ein Hostel ist, aber das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und bietet ständig lustige Aktivitäten! Es gibt Bars, einen Waschsalon, eine Pizzeria und eine Kneipe in der Nähe, die sich direkt zwischen den West- und Oststationen befindet und den Transport sehr bequem macht. Ich wusste jedoch nicht, dass die Räume geteilt wurden, also war ich ein bisschen überrascht.

Probably the best hostel I've stayed at, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms and facilities were clean.
There is a bar open from ~17:00-22:00, and unfortunately after 22:00 you can't hang out in the outside area (due to noise regulations as I understood it).
I saw some reviews about pillows being bad, but didn't have any issues, I guess that depends per person.
There's a lot to do in Interlaken and surrounding area, the hostel is only a ~15min walk from the train station Interlaken West&Ost, and there's a supermarket close by too.
As a solo traveller, the common areas and bar are were great, and there were daily activities planned as well (bingo, dancing classes, kayaking).
Had a great time here, shoutout to the Aussie bartender.

Dies war mein Lieblingshostel jemals! Ich hatte die Zeit meines Lebens hier, machte so viele Freunde und Erinnerungen für das Leben. Ein besonderer Schrei an Ivan, ein Mitarbeiter, den ich auch als Freund betrachte. Machte die Erfahrung dort noch besser und brauchte einige Zeit, um abzuhängen und sicherzustellen, dass ich alles hatte, was ich brauchte! Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und möchten sicherstellen, dass Sie eine tolle Zeit haben. Ein weiterer Schrei nach Dario, weil er eine großartige Person ist. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, zurück zu sein !! ❤️ 🇨🇭
