Balmers Hostel,

Balmers hostel is the oldest hostel of Switzerland. It has been build in a typical wooden Swiss Chalet. The hostel has three buildings, the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, each room is unique with a touch of traditional Swiss character.

We can take you Night Sledding, Snow Shoeing, tell you where the best snow is for Skiing and Snowboarding, or simply point you to the chocolate shop and enjoy a chocolate making course. At Balmers Hostel, we also have a fully equipped kitchen that allows you to prepare your own meals.

And for those who don’t want to cook, there is always the wintergarten who propose delicious burger & fondue.

Balmers Club
Party all night long

Downstairs is the famous Balmers Club, the number one hotspot in Interlaken for partying. Meet a unique mix of locals and international travelers in a friendly, fun environment. Enjoy live music, international DJ’s and Theme Parties. The Club is only open on weekends during winter months so be sure to come over a weekend!
