After a long journey arriving by plane, train or car, nothing is better than being welcomed like home in your new destination. Discover the “Balmers Experience”: At Balmers Hostel, you will be greeted as a friend. We will take really good care of you.
First step: Pass by our reception.
You will meet our amazing reception crew that will help you create the Balmers Experience you have ever lived out of your stay in Interlaken, Switzerland. Starting with registration and orientating you to your room. You will also receive a city map and a free bus card to circulate in the town of Interlaken.
Second step: Organize your stay in Interlaken.
To really live the Balmers Experience, you have to try at least one of our adrenaline activities. Our super professional and friendly staff is there to make your Swiss dream come true. We can book activities for you and give you inside tips about where to go to eat or the best hikes around Interlaken. We will always do our best to accommodate any of your envies.
Third step: Meet new friends and party
The Balmers Experience will not be complete without going back home with new friends from all over the world. We make a priority to create a nice atmosphere, everyone here is friendly and the hot tub and the club are there for you to complete a perfect stay in Switzerland.

” Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The hostel is as just as the city: amazing. It offers you a great young and vibrant atmosphere and has an old school rustic ambient that makes you feels like you are inside a maze, which is very cool. Also, it counts with helpful and friendly staff, games room, hammock room, pianos, chess boards, tasty grill and bar and the best of it, for me, was the club that is literally under the hostel and offers us travelers something most of the other hostels don’t: the opportunity the meet local people. A bunch of them go there and it is awesome.
The hostel also has a Tent Village part in which is really chill and offers guests a jacuzzi, swimming pool, bar and grilling place. It is possible to stay there for a lower price if you wish. ” Hands down the best hostel I have ever stayed at. We planned on being there for 3 days and ended up extending it to a week because we didn’t want to leave! Awesome staff, awesome amenities, the best hostel ever for meeting people. Everyone that stays there talks to each other, and it’s the best way to make new friends. By the end of our stay, we were ready to come back home and pack our things, head back out there and try to get a job at Balmers so we didn’t have to ever leave, haha.
