When the bass notes boom across the upper end of Lake Brienz and a tent village springs up between the Aare River and the motorway, you know it’s that time of year again: the Brienzersee Rock Festival has begun!
Rock music fans from all over Switzerland make the annual pilgrimage to Brienz to take part in this unique rock festival. In the large festival tent right on the beautiful Lake Brienz, you can enjoy rock guitar music from Switzerland and around the world, whatever the weather. The breathtaking natural backdrop with the turquoise Lake Brienz, the various bars and the culinary delights make the festival an unforgettable experience.

This year the three-day Lake Brienz Rock Festival is being held for the 36th time.
- The campsite is located right next to the festival grounds. You can pitch your tent there from 12 noon on Wednesday, 6 August 2025. As compensation for the landowner, we charge a one-time fee: Tent / CHF 10.00 The campsite has toilets and showers with cold and hot water.
- Campers/motorhomes and cars with sleeping facilities pay a one-time fee of CHF 15.00 for parking.
