Look; it's a hostel - so the rooms are small, it's cramped, the beds are small, etc. But the vibe and the energy and the people staying there and the staff are great. It's in a neat area of Interlaken eith plenty of grocery store, bar, bakery and restaurant options. Jake, the bartender is great!@!

Esperienza irreale a Balmers Negli ultimi giorni, Dario e il team hanno reso l'atmosfera un ottimo posto per uscire e incontrare persone. Ottimo posto anche per le stazioni ferroviarie e le fermate degli autobus. Tutto veniva pulito quotidianamente e tutto il personale era rispettoso. Tornerò presto!

Ero preoccupato perché è un ostello, ma il personale è incredibilmente cordiale e offre costantemente attività divertenti! Ci sono bar, una lavanderia a gettoni, una pizzeria e un pub nelle vicinanze, e si trova proprio tra le stazioni occidentali e orientali, rendendo molto comodo il trasporto. Tuttavia, non sapevo che le stanze fossero condivise, quindi sono rimasto un po 'sorpreso.

Probably the best hostel I've stayed at, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms and facilities were clean. There is a bar open from ~17:00-22:00, and unfortunately after 22:00 you can't hang out in the outside area (due to noise regulations as I understood it). I saw some reviews about pillows being bad, but didn't have any issues, I guess that depends per person. There's a lot to do in Interlaken and surrounding area, the hostel is only a ~15min walk from the train station Interlaken West&Ost, and there's a supermarket close by too. As a solo traveller, the common areas and bar are were great, and there were daily activities planned as well (bingo, dancing classes, kayaking). Had a great time here, shoutout to the Aussie bartender.

Questo è stato il mio ostello preferito di sempre! Ho avuto il tempo della mia vita qui, ho fatto così tanti amici e ricordi per la vita. Un grido speciale a Ivan, un membro dello staff che considero anche un amico. Ha reso l'esperienza ancora migliore e ha impiegato un po 'di tempo per uscire e assicurarmi di avere tutto ciò di cui avevo bisogno! Il personale è super cordiale e vuole assicurarsi di divertirti. Un altro grido a Dario per essere una grande persona. Non vedo l'ora di tornare !! ❤️ 🇨🇭

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Balmers Hostel, Interlaken Check in for the vibe—it’s what Balmers does best. The atmosphere is energetic and social, with events happening every night. It’s definitely not the cheapest hostel, but it has everything you need. The kitchen can get quite busy, so plan your meals accordingly. Our room was a bit small for the price, and while the linens seemed fresh, the duvet and pillows had visible stains, which was a letdown. That said, the energy of the place made up for a lot. Still loved the live and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lively base in Interlaken.

This is the best hostel i've ever stayed in my life! The staff was great. Friendly, caring and proactive. They made sure to always have free- fun activities for their guests that included activities around the Interlaken region and also at the hostel. The housekeeping team makes an excellent work and the place is always clean. I stayed at a 6-bed female bedroom and the beds were comfortable, you had enough space for secure storage and the shared bathrooms/showers were *always* clean. The kitchen is amazing, you have everything you need to make the best meals and save money while being in Switzerland. You can hang out almost everywhere @ the hostel and it's just a very nice place to stay. Definitely would love to be back.

Il personale della reception è utile. L'edificio è realizzato in legno, quindi assorbe il rumore. La cucina è spaziosa. Tutti di solito lavano i propri piatti. I bagni sono per lo più frequentati da giovani tra 18 e 25 anni. La cucina e i bagni vengono puliti regolarmente. Poiché queste sono sale di genere miste, ci dovrebbero essere spogliatoi. Cambiare sotto la doccia è molto scomodo. I cuscini sono molto sottili e scomodi. Sono praticamente inesistenti. Come per tutti gli ostelli, il russare è un problema. Se russare, soggiorna in una stanza privata, non in una stanza per sei persone. Ci sono gabbie di ferro invece di armadi e aprire e chiuderli è rumoroso. Organizzano attività quotidiane come i picnic sul lago e le feste, il che è molto piacevole.
