A Natural Treasure Worth Protecting
Ancient tree species, rare wild bees, pristine moors, bears, and wolves - the Swiss Alps are a dazzling natural treasure and home to thousands of animal and plant species. By supporting the Alpine sponsorship program, you help ensure that human activity does not deplete this rich biodiversity.
Responsible Use
Agriculture, hydropower, and tourism intensively use the Alpine region. Maintaining natural habitats and corridors is essential to preserving plant and animal species, and the WWF Alpine Program works to protect these.
We are continuously working towards becoming more sustainable through eco-friendly practices in our hostel and by supporting conservation initiatives like this one.
