My friend and I took the train from Interlaken to Lauternbrunnen for the first time and the view shocked us 🙌 As soon as you reach the station you can see the iconic waterfall that flows right above the town. Fun fact, the valley of Lauterbrunnen has 72 waterfalls! ⁠

Io e il mio amico abbiamo preso il treno da Interlaken a Lauternbrunnen per la prima volta e la vista ci ha scioccato 🙌 Non appena raggiungi la stazione puoi vedere l'iconica cascata che scorre proprio sopra la città. Curiosità: la valle di Lauterbrunnen ha 72 cascate! ⁠

📅ITINERARIO DI 7 GIORNI👇⁠

Day 1 — Schäfler & Seealpsee 🥾⁠
Nei pressi di Appenzello l'escursione allo Schäfler è da moderata a faticosa (4–5 ore andata e ritorno, cresta esposta). Per risparmiare tempo prendi la funivia Wasserauen e mentre scendi passa davanti al lago Seealpsee.⁠
⁠
Giorno 2 — Arrivo a Interlaken 🏨⁠
Base qui per i prossimi 4 giorni: hub perfetto per l'Oberland bernese.⁠
⁠
Giorno 3 — Via Ferrata Lauterbrunnen + Mürren 🧗⁠
Salite con la funivia fino al villaggio pedonale di Mürren. La via ferrata (Klettersteig) qui è classificata C/D (moderato-difficile) con cavi d'acciaio fissi lungo scogliere esposte. Noleggia il casco e l'imbracatura in loco.⁠
⁠
Giorno 4 — Wengen + Jungfraujoch 🏔️⁠
Inizia a Wengen, quindi prendi il treno a cremagliera per Jungfraujoch, la cima d'Europa a 3.454 m. Vai presto per evitare gruppi di turisti e considera di fermarti a Grindelwald sulla via del ritorno.⁠

Giorno 5 — Iseltwald + Grindelwald First + Harder Kulm🌅⁠
Mattinata a Iseltwald sul Lago di Brienz, poi partenza per Grindelwald. Prendi la funivia fino a First per la Cliff Walk (facile), l'escursione sul lago Bachalpsee (facile, 1,5 ore) o la zip line First Flyer. Concludi la serata all'Harder Kulm per il tramonto su entrambi i laghi.⁠

Giorno 6 — Lago Oeschinen + Zermatt 🥾⁠
Dirigiti a Kandersteg e prendi la cabinovia per percorrere il sentiero in cresta fino a Oeschinensee, un lago glaciale di un blu incredibile (moderato, 3-4 ore andata e ritorno). Quindi treno per Zermatt via Briga per la prima occhiata al Cervino.⁠

Giorno 7 — Zermatt 🏔️⁠
Allenati fino al Gornergrat o fai un'escursione lungo la Five Lakes Walk (facile-moderato, ~10 km) con i riflessi del Cervino su ogni lago.⁠

Day 1 — Schäfler & Seealpsee 🥾⁠
Near Appenzell, the hike to Schäfler is moderate-to-strenuous (4–5 hrs round trip, exposed ridgeline). Take the Wasserauen cable car up to save time and loop past Seealpsee lake on the way down.⁠
⁠
Day 2 — Arrive Interlaken 🏨⁠
Base yourself here for the next 4 days—perfect hub for the Bernese Oberland.⁠
⁠
Day 3 — Lauterbrunnen + Mürren Via Ferrata 🧗⁠
Take the cable car up to the car-free village of Mürren. The via ferrata (Klettersteig) here is rated C/D (moderate-difficult) with fixed steel cables along exposed cliffs. Rent your helmet and harness locally.⁠

Day 4 — Wengen + Jungfraujoch 🏔️⁠
Start in Wengen, then take the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe at 3,454m. Go early to beat tour groups and consider stopping in Grindelwald on your way back.⁠

Day 5 — Iseltwald + Grindelwald First + Harder Kulm🌅⁠
Morning at Iseltwald on Lake Brienz, then head to Grindelwald. Take the gondola up to First for the Cliff Walk (easy), Bachalpsee lake hike (easy, 1.5 hrs), or the First Flyer zip line. End the evening at Harder Kulm for sunset over both lakes.⁠

Day 6 — Oeschinen Lake + Zermatt 🥾⁠
Head to Kandersteg and take the gondola up to hike the ridge trail to Oeschinensee, an impossibly blue glacial lake (moderate, 3–4 hrs round trip). Then train to Zermatt via Brig for your first look at the Matterhorn.⁠

Day 7 — Zermatt 🏔️⁠
Train up to Gornergrat or hike the Five Lakes Walk (easy-moderate, ~10 km) with Matterhorn reflections at every lake.⁠
