Eating is essential, especially when you've planned on doing all of those adrenaline activities during your stay.
Here is our yummiest places to eat in Interlaken that your wallet will like too.
#1: Layaly Beirut - Lebanese restaurant
Layaly Beirut is an amazing Lebanese food restaurant. They have super tasty mezza, fatoush, houmous, taboule and much more. The typical Arabic coffee and tea are worth trying too! It is one of the very nice, healthy, and cheap restaurants around Interlaken. Ask for the daily menu!
➤ From 15 CHF to 30 CHF for a couscous salad or a delicious sandwich, to more elaborate plates.
#2: Little Thai restaurant - Thai Food
This little Thai restaurant is just next to Balmers Hostel and serves delicious traditional homemade Thai food. A good option is the chicken panang, or check out their daily specials.
➤ From 18 CHF to 27 CHF for a meal, good-sized portions.
#3: Xport Pizzeria - Fast food
Inoltre, è accanto al Balmers Hostel, Pizza Xport serves all kinds of good & yummy food like kebab, burger, fries, pizza, durum, salad, etc. And if you can eat 2 x 16 inch xport pizzas and a drink, you get them for free !!! Didn't we tell you we've found you the best cheap restaurant options? Great too for those late night munchies....;-)

#5 : Barracuda - Coffee & bar
Proprio di fronte al Balmers Hostel, il Caffetteria e bar Barracuda is the place to meet seasonal workers and local guides. This is a cheap place to have a good sandwich during your day. Pssst, they also offer takeaways.
➤ They have all kinds of yummy coffees and drinks, and also serve food from time to time, like bagels, wraps & paninis (9 CHF) for lunch.
#6. Villa della fonduta
Se preferisci lo stile svizzero tradizionale, dovresti provare Fondo Villa. They offer a cozy, warm, fun & Swiss fondue experience. Fondue Villa is going to melt your food the Swiss way with delicious cheese & ice cream fondue. They even offer a fondue cooking class to learn how to make a real Swiss fondue, and also offer a picnic basket for you to have an outdoor fondue.
**Hanno anche la fonduta vegana e senza lattosio!
#7. Ristoranti del supermercato
Coop supermarket is usually a good and cheap restaurant. It is a reliable place for lunch and a good value for Switzerland! The Coop Interlaken is situated right outside the train station, so very convenient either before or after a day out. There is a beautiful buffet with lots of vegetarian options.
The Migros is more cafeteria style, but trust me, you will save a bundle on food. Food is not cheap in Switzerland, and 20% is tacked on to every bill if you sit down. Not so here. It is at the west end of town, and it is also where the locals eat!! Really good food, desserts, and of course, the coffee.
Buon appetito.
