Our staff comes from over 10 different countries, which means you’ll get a multicultural experience right here at the hostel. Whether it’s housekeeping, reception, or the bar team, everyone’s committed to making sure you have an amazing stay. And if you’re looking for insider tips or recommendations, you’ll find plenty of seasoned travelers on the team who are happy to help.

Notre réception n'est pas ouverte 24/7, mais vous ne serez jamais sans aide -Le personnel est toujours là, even at night, to ensure everything runs smoothly. If you’re planning your itinerary or need hiking tips or recommendations for adventure activities, our reception team has got you covered. We can help you with booking train tickets and ski passes to make your trip even more convenient.

Check-Out Details
Découvrez avant 10h00 en apportant vos draps, une feuille ajustée et une housse d'oreiller à la réception. Laissez votre aimant sur le cadre du lit afin que nous sachions que vous avez vérifié et déposez votre clé à la réception ou dans le panier prévu pour les premiers départs.
Check-In Details
Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, but if you arrive later than 10:00 PM, don’t worry! You can use the check-in kiosk. Please come see us in the morning to get everything you'll need during your stay. Please note that after 10.00 pm, the back entrance is locked, so you’ll need to enter through the front yard.
Arriver tôt?
After 2:00 PM, you can check whether your room is ready at the self check-in kiosk near reception. Please come to reception after 4 pm to collect your Interlaken Pass et wristband. If it isn't ready yet, you're welcome to leave your luggage in our luggage room. Lockers are available 24/7 - card payment accepted.

Cuisine
Let’s face it—eating out in Switzerland can be pricey. That’s why our fully equipped kitchen is a lifesaver for budget-conscious travelers. It has stoves, ovens, microwaves, and all the utensils you’ll need to prepare anything from a quick snack to a gourmet meal. To get you going get a coffee from our amazing coffee machine. You can choose between plant based or cow milk when getting your cappuccino or latte macchiato. Important: the kitchen is closed for cleaning daily from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.

Hammock & Game Room
Looking for a cozy corner to read, relaxe or play? Our semi-outdoor hammock room is perfect for chilling solo or with friends, unwind in a hammock or play a game of billiards or table football. Keep in mind that it closes at 10:00 PM to maintain quiet hours.
Salon
We’ve got three cozy living rooms across two buildings, complete with sofas, tables, and fireplaces. These spaces are ideal for working, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing after a long day.

A sunny space for lounging, playing games, or connecting with fellow travelers. Here, you’ll find the bar and the BBQ area. In summer, you can relax on the garden swing, and in winter, you can sit cosily round the fire. Quiet hours start at 10:00 PM, so plan your activities accordingly.
Eiger Bar
Open most evenings during summer, our outdoor bar is the perfect place to grab a drink after a day of exploring. During winter, opening days may vary, so check with reception for the latest schedule. When the temperatures drop, we move the bar indoors to keep the good vibes flowing.
Le Balmers Club
Yes, Nous avons un club! Les fêtes se produisent chaque semaine (plus souvent en haute saison), exclusivement pour les invités de l'auberge. Des jeux aux danses sauvages, c'est là que la nuit prend vie. Gardez un œil sur le conseil d'administration des événements à la réception pour la prochaine fête.

Nous sommes idéalement situés à seulement 16 minutes à pied des stations de train interlaken OST et West. Want to take it easy? Hop on Bus 104/105 from Interlaken West or Bus 104 from Interlaken Ost. Your bus ride is free with your booking confirmation on the arrival day. There’s no need to show anything to the bus driver unless a supervisor requests it. Once you’ve checked in, you’ll receive an Interlaken Pass for free local transport and other perks.
