Estaba preocupado porque es un albergue, pero el personal es increíblemente amable y constantemente ofrece actividades divertidas. Hay bares, una lavandería, una pizzería y un pub cerca, y se encuentra justo entre las estaciones oeste y este, lo que hace que el transporte sea muy conveniente. Probably the best hostel I've stayed at, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms and facilities were clean. There is a bar open from ~17:00-22:00, and unfortunately after 22:00 you can't hang out in the outside area (due to noise regulations as I understood it). I saw some reviews about pillows being bad, but didn't have any issues, I guess that depends per person. There's a lot to do in Interlaken and surrounding area, the hostel is only a ~15min walk from the train station Interlaken West&Ost, and there's a supermarket close by too. As a solo traveller, the common areas and bar are were great, and there were daily activities planned as well (bingo, dancing classes, kayaking). Had a great time here, shoutout to the Aussie bartender.

¡Este ha sido mi hostal favorito! Tuve el momento de mi vida aquí, hice tantos amigos y recuerdos de por vida. Un grito especial a Ivan, un miembro del personal que también considero un amigo. ¡Hizo la experiencia allí aún mejor y tomó un tiempo para pasar el rato y asegurarse de que tuviera todo lo que necesitaba! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Balmers Hostel, Interlaken Check in for the vibe—it’s what Balmers does best. The atmosphere is energetic and social, with events happening every night. It’s definitely not the cheapest hostel, but it has everything you need. The kitchen can get quite busy, so plan your meals accordingly. Our room was a bit small for the price, and while the linens seemed fresh, the duvet and pillows had visible stains, which was a letdown. That said, the energy of the place made up for a lot. Still loved the live and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lively base in Interlaken.

This is the best hostel i've ever stayed in my life! The staff was great. Friendly, caring and proactive. They made sure to always have free- fun activities for their guests that included activities around the Interlaken region and also at the hostel. The housekeeping team makes an excellent work and the place is always clean. I stayed at a 6-bed female bedroom and the beds were comfortable, you had enough space for secure storage and the shared bathrooms/showers were *always* clean. The kitchen is amazing, you have everything you need to make the best meals and save money while being in Switzerland. You can hang out almost everywhere @ the hostel and it's just a very nice place to stay. Definitely would love to be back.

El personal de recepción es útil. El edificio está hecho de madera, por lo que absorbe el ruido. La cocina es espaciosa. Todos suelen lavar sus propios platos. Los baños son frecuentados en su mayoría por jóvenes entre 18 y 25. La cocina y los baños se limpian regularmente. Dado que estas son habitaciones de género mixto, debe haber vestuarios. Cambiar en la ducha es muy incómodo. Las almohadas son muy delgadas e incómodas. Son prácticamente inexistentes. Como con todos los albergues, los ronquidos es un problema. Si ronda, quédese en una habitación privada, no en una habitación de seis personas. Hay jaulas de hierro en lugar de armarios, y abrirlas y cerrarlas es ruidosa. Organizan actividades diarias como picnics en el lago y las fiestas, lo cual es muy agradable.

He mochilado en Europa 3 veces y Balmers es, con mucho, el mejor albergue. Me he alojado en Balmers dos veces y amé mis dos experiencias. El albergue es divertido, limpio y acogedor. Hay un gran bar, lugares para pasar el rato y las habitaciones tienen mucho espacio

Tuve una buena estadía en el albergue. Reservé una habitación privada para mi perro y yo. La ubicación es central, es fácil de alcanzar desde la estación de tren. Hay restaurantes para comer fuera. También tienen una gran cocina de invitados. El personal es amable y servicial. Los recomendaría.
