Dicho esto, hemos decidido no responder a cada reseรฑa individualmente. En lugar de eso, elegimos concentrar nuestro tiempo y energรญa en mejorar las cosas aquรญ en el albergue.

Y nos importa profundamente. Pero responder a cada comentario solo para que parezca que nos importa no nos parece autรฉntico. Somos un grupo muy humano y nos encanta conectarnos de manera real. Preferimos mantener las cosas reales que convertir las reseรฑas en un ejercicio de casillas de verificaciรณn.

En una nota mรกs personal: recibir una crรญtica negativa, especialmente cuando se debe a una falta de comunicaciรณn, puede ser realmente desalentador. Nuestro equipo siempre estรก disponible para conversar en persona, y tambiรฉn puedes comunicarte con nosotros por correo electrรณnico, telรฉfono o WhatsApp si algo no anda bien durante tu estadรญa. Preferimos intentar arreglar las cosas en tiempo real que leer sobre ellas mรกs tarde, cuando ya sea demasiado tarde para ayudar.

Ah, y antes de olvidar, organizamos una fiesta o dos, especialmente en la temporada alta.

It all started back in **1907**, when Frida and Adolf Balmer opened a small *Touristenheim* for travellers. By the 1950s, they were already hosting British school groups, so you could say the hostel spirit here has been going strong for quite some time.โ

In the 70s, the second generation expanded it from a modest 50 beds to one of the most iconic hostels in Switzerland.โ

In winter, when conditions allow, they have a marked ice walk on the lake. Itโs open now, so itโs time for a day trip.โ

To reach the lake, travel to Kandersteg, ride the gondola up, then follow the groomed snowy trail to the lakeside, about 30 mins.โ

Always check the safety sign at the lake before stepping on the ice. Then enjoy a stroll on the ice, keeping within the marked borders, about a 1 km loop.โ
โ
โ ๏ธ Conditions can change quickly, so always check the trail status online and info boards before heading out. They regularly check ice stability and close the ice walk if necessary.โ
