Group Booking
Just so we’re clear right off the bat, Balmers isn’t taking group bookings anymore.
Why? Because we’re all in on celebrating the individual wanderlust spirit! If you’re aged 18-30 and itching to carve your path through the enchanting Swiss landscapes, you’ve just stumbled upon your dream base camp.
Why the Solo and Small Crew Vibes?
We’ve got our heart set on delivering the true backpacker experience. In our book, hostels are these magical crossroads where solo wanderers and pint-sized posses meet, share tales, and perhaps hatch a plan for an unplanned Alpine escapade. While big groups have their moments, they sometimes eclipse the spontaneous, free-spirited ambiance that’s our jam.
Getting Down to the Deets:
- Friends group up to 12? You’re golden! You can book directly through our website — we’re ready for you.
- More than 12? We’re not set up for larger groups, so that’s a pass.
- Travel agencies? We keep things simple and personal — no agency bookings, thanks.
- Stag, hen, clubs, etc. Also, a pass, even if you’re less than 12 people.
Looking for Group-Friendly Spots?
While our rhythm is more solo-and-small-crew-centric, plenty of other hostels in Interlaken are tuning into the group groove. They’d be more than happy to host your merry band!
