TASTER COURSE MOUNTAINEERING
Our taster course introduces you to the most crucial aspects of mountaineering. Your mountain guide will familiarize you with equipment and show you the safest and most effective techniques for moving on rocky and steep terrain. This entry-level course will prepare you for your next steps in mountaineering.
Meet your guide in Grindelwald and check your equipment. Take the cable car to First and hike to Bachalpsee. From here you can see your destination for the day, the Reeti. Get your first taste of alpine terrain during this round-trip journey. The climbing will be easy but will reveal valuable lessons about the terrain, technique, and the potential dangers of mountaineering.
