Many historical highlights take place in Switzerland, mainly in the Bernese Oberland. The heroes watch the paragliders on the Kleine Scheidegg, meet at Lake Brienz or visit the Jungfraujoch.
1. Iseltwald
This famous piano scene was filmed in Iseltwald. A village on the southern shore of Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. Known as a fairy tale village surrounded by the Swiss Alps. Famous for locals and tourists.
2. Kleine Scheidegg
Kleine Scheidegg is where Jeong-hyeok and Se-ri, unknown to each other, watch the paragliders drifting in the sky.
This beautiful mountain pass in the Swiss Alps is situated between the Eiger and Lauberhorn mountain peaks. It is a popular tourist attraction being the endpoint of the “Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg Panorama Trail”, a popular 4.7km hiking trail, and the Wengernalp Railway, which is known as the world’s longest continuous rack and pinion railway.
3. Cruising lake Brienz
Cruising down this turquoise lake, the suicidal Se-ri is standing on the cruise boat hoping the beautiful view would act as a remedy to her mental health trauma when she hears beautiful piano music.
Lake Brienz takes is named from the village on its shore, which is famous for woodcarving. This is a beautiful alpine lake in Interlaken with shimmering turquoise waters.
You can take a cruise on the lake to enjoy the beauty of its surrounding. The cruise boat sails between Interlaken and Brienz, stopping at several lakefront villages like Iseltwald and Giessbach along the way.
4. Schreckfeld – First
Se-ri is taking pictures for Jeong-hyeok and his fiance Seo Dan at a trail on the side of a mountain, near Schreckfeld cable car station.
Schreckfeld is a walking trail of 2,36 kilometers on the summit of First on the slopes of the mountain Schwarzhorn in the Swiss Alps in the Bernese Oberland region. You need to exit at the third station on the First Gondola Cable Car system. We also recommend you to take the cable car all the way to the top to visit the famous First Cliff Walk and hike to Lake Bachalpsee.
5. Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe
In episode 16, Jeong-hyeok, his fiancee Seo Dan and Se-ri take the train up to the Jungfraujoch and are sitting right behind each other.
The Jungfraujoch is the most famous viewing point in Switzerland. It is the highest train station in Europe (3,454 meters).
