At 13 000 ft (4000 m) it's exit time, as you jump
out of a perfectly good airplane with a highly qualified jumpmaster strapped to
your back. The free fall is enough to take one's breath away as you plunge down
the vertical face of the Eiger into the seemingly bottomless valleys of the
Swiss Alps. This activity has a serious adrenaline factor with the bonus of a
really great flight before you even get to the jump site.
After being greeted by our friendly staff at the Reichenbach airport, your
jumpmaster explains the exact jump program and familiarises you with your
equipment before boarding. The thrill of this adventure starts during the flight
to the drop zone as you have ample time to enjoy the wonderful scenery of the
mighty Swiss Alps. At 13 000 ft (4000 m) everything is carefully checked again
as you prepare yourself for the experience of a lifetime. With your pulse rate
going through the roof and the wind screaming in your ears you have 45 seconds
of heart stopping free fall in a natural setting even more impressive than the
jump itself. After your jumpmaster inflates the parachute things quiet down
remarkably and you can admire the view as you glide down to a gentle landing in
Reichenbach.
